A mobile kitchen island is perfect for those moments when you need more space for cooking or extra storage. And when it’s not in use, it can easily be moved aside.
You decide the dimensions yourself — and whether you want wheels or not. The number of drawers depends on the size you would like the kitchen island to be. And for those who want a substantial countertop, similar to an old butcher’s block, that is also possible. You can chop and prepare food directly on the countertop.

We work with FSC-certified wood that grows close to the workshop where we build our kitchens.
The paint we use for our cabinets comes from Selder & Co in Uppsala — a family-owned company with nearly 40 years of experience in linseed oil paints.
In addition to building all our cabinets by hand, every surface is also painted by hand using a brush. That is why you can notice the beautiful brush strokes when looking closely at the cabinetry. And surely there is something wonderful about details that reveal true craftsmanship and the life it gives to a piece of furniture.
The mobile kitchen island has many uses. The fact that it is movable makes it highly flexible — one day it can serve as extra storage along a wall. Another day it can become additional workspace in the kitchen. And on yet another day it can function as a serving station for entertaining, so you do not have to place all the food directly on the dining table.
Kitchen Collection: Made to match our Shaker kitchens, 1920s kitchens, or contemporary kitchens.
Colour: Available in one of our standard colours or in a custom colour choice (NCS code).
Countertop: Oak in 20 mm or 30 mm thickness, or as a “butcher’s block”. Alternatively, you may source your own countertop.
Knobs / Handles: Purchase knobs or handles through us, or source your own.
Legs: Can be ordered with 4 standard legs, or with 2 standard legs and 2 legs fitted with wheels for easy movement of the kitchen island.
