An ocher yellow Shaker Kitchen in the heart of Dalarna

In Vellinge in southern Sweden, you’ll find this beautiful shaker kitchen in a soft light grey shade called “Dim grå” (fog grey). ” as the shade is called. The wooden panel is painted in the same color and contributes to a pleasant uniformity to the room.
The kitchen island consists of three modules facing the kitchen side. Two 40 cm cabinets (module BL400L3), each with three pull-out drawers, are placed on either side of a 60 cm wine cooler.
The countertop extends 15 mm at the front and approximately 22.5 cm at the back, supported by the extended side panels.

The countertop is made of Silestone in the colour “Nolita” from Cosentino, supplied through House Of Design.
The rail with hooks and the stools are from Norrgavel and made from oak.
The kitchen includes four pull-out drawers with custom drawer inserts: one for spices, one for knives, one for cutlery and one for kitchen utensils such as ladles and spatulas.
The sink and tap are from Franke. The sink cabinet is 80 cm wide and contains two pull-out drawers with stainless steel waste sorting. In total there are six containers in different sizes, making recycling both neat and practical.
The kitchen island is a central gathering point and used for many different purposes.
